Dr. David C. Ukena Graduated from Pittsburgh State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1985 and then attended the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors in 1989. In June of the same year, Dr. Ukena and his wife, Mary, moved to Springfield Missouri where he started a private practice. Dr. Ukena a long standing member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and Past President of the Greater Springfield Dental Society He also has been actively involved as a delegate with the Missouri Dental Association. Currently, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Springfield Dental Society. Dr. Ukena is currently involved in the practice of General Dentistry. He works in a new state of the art facility where he enjoys Cosmetic Dentistry (including white fillings), Implant Restoration, Root Canals, Crown and Bridge, and Surgical Procedures. He was voted by his dental peers in 2008 as one of Springfield’s Best. Dr. and Mrs. Ukena reside in Springfield and have three children: Caroline, Courtney, and Neal. His hobbies include biking, fishing, hiking, and hunting.
Dr. Matthew D. Kufahl Is a new resident of the Springfield area and a recent graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry. Prior to Dental school, he attended Pittsburg State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Minor in chemistry. He joined the Springfield community along with his wife Stacie, and his two Sons. Dr. Kufahl is an honorable member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Springfield Dental Society. He is well trained and specializes in root canal therapy, crown and bridge work, implant restoration and treatment planning, complete and partial dentures, tooth extractions, fillings, and cosmetic dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Kufahl volunteers locally and also enjoys mountain biking, hunting, working on cars, and spending time with his family.
